Day 3: Vithey

So, that "th" in Vithey is supposed to be a thorn, or an eth (I can't keep them straight - never did master Old English), but I'm not sure of the ASCII code for that, or that anyone reading this would care.

Vithey is a small island a 5-minute ferry ride from Reykjavik.  It has a nice cafe, the Imagine Peace monument to John Lennon, and.... well, birds and grass and rocks.  That green strip is Vithey - the mountains behind it are across the fjord.

One of the best parts of the trip so far has been eating fresh warm waffles at the cafe on Vithey, sitting outside in the sun and refreshing Iceland air.
